Description
[Side 1] Joseph and Henry remember taking goods train home from Bellingham with Scotsman and not understanding a word; anecdotes about leisure time in past. [Side 2] Joseph and Albert recite old saying 'five old wives of Acomb'; rendition of children's song, 'My father died a month ago and left me all his riches ...'.; bemoan lack of traditional singing and dancing.

Henry b. Acomb, aged 75-80, Joseph's uncle. Joseph b. Acomb, Henry's nephew. Albert b. Wall, now living in Acomb for 50 years.
