Description
[Side 1] Harry talks about cultivating and sowing crops incl. potatoes and wheat, explains use of disc harrow, compares spring and autumn wheat, talks about ploughing with horses. [Side 2] Harry compares ploughing with horses and with tractor. [0:05:51] Mrs. Wynn recalls local schoolmaster, explains how own brother learned to write at night school, talks about husband's and brother's WW1 experiences, recalls Armistice Day celebrations incl. processions and dances in Albrighton. Note: Recording date 1958-11 noted by ear, 1960-05-03 written on lacquer disc label. Continued at 1LL0015055 S1.
