Description
[Side 1] Abraham talks about keeping sheep, discusses problems with foxes and expresses positive opinion about fox hunting, recounts incident of dog worrying lambs and compensation from owner. [Side 2] Abraham recounts second incident of dogs worrying sheep and negotiations with owner, reflects on working life, incl. early years at colliery, describes typical day and wages, recalls loss of wife and having to move out of house, spent several years as farm worker before taking farm in 1923.

Abraham b. Warwickshire, aged 73, local school till aged 10, lived locally since baby; father b. Markfield, farmer; mother b. Worthington; wife b. Markfield.
