Description

[Side 1] Mr Kemp recalls 'clipping' [= shearing] by hand, talks about process of washing and dipping in past, detailed description of dipping and draining pool, discusses relative value of washed and unwashed fleece. [Side 2] Mr Kemp tells anecdote about catching elusive fox unaware chase was filmed, sister later saw film at cinema' in Leicester, recalls two incidents with difficult horses, remembers falling off former racehorse and helping to train parson's ex-army horse.

Mr Kemp b. Harby, aged 72, local school till aged 11, whole life in Harby; father b. Harby, waggoner; mother b. Stathern.
