Œuvres d'architecture de Jean Le Pautre was published by Jombert in 1751.


Title page vignettes, that in v. 1 after C. Cochin fils (dated 1762), that in v. 2 by Cl. Duclos. Each vol. has added engraved title page, that in v. 1 by Jean Marot (dated 1764), that in v. 2 by Cottart. Headpiece to "Avertissement," v. 1, by Babel [pl. 85].


According to the tables of contents, v. 1 has 251 plates arranged in pts. 1-24, v. 2 has 437 plates in pts. 25-56 [688 plates].


Vol. 2 includes a number of suites that are less narrowly related to ornament, e.g.: pt. 50. Diverses etudes de têtes et figures anatomiques, dessinées et gravées par Abraham Bosse [anatomical drawings]-- pt. 53. La vie de l'enfant prodigue, faite par noble Jacques Callot.
