The title page is engraved, no date of publication. Plates are dated 1739: I. Carwitham Inv. et sc. 1739.

ESTC has 1739 as publication date.

First edition entitled: 'Floor-decorations of various kinds. . . A work intirely new', published in 1739 [date from plates]. A second issue has same title with different imprint. This copy with variant title is perhaps a second edition and could have been published later. See NUC [LofC] has c.1745 date [or 1740?]; and loose excerpt from Simon Finch sale catalogue, 60, 2004 about the first and other issues and editions.
