Item was possibly written for Yehudit, wife of Shemuʾel Ḥay Modena, inhabitant of Cento, folio 10v: זה הספר ממרת יהודית אשת כמ׳׳ר שמואל חי מודונא תושב צינטו (inscription likely by the scribe of the item).


Maybe a copy of יוצר ליום הושענה רבא by Shabtai Beʾer, printed in Venice [1668].

2. folios 2r–4v: יוצר של יום הושענא רבא; hymn by Shabtai Beʿer (acrostic) to be recited during morning service of Hoshana Raba , beginning שערי נהרות נפתחו.

3. folios 5r–6r: בר[אש] ה[שנה] וביום הכפורים והושענא רבא קודם פתיחת ארון הקדש; hymn by Yehudah Ḳarpi (acrostic) to be recited before opening the Torah ark during services on Rosh ha-Shanah, Yom Kipur, and Hoshana Rabbah, opening words: אפתח נא שפתי בצדק.

4. folios 6r–7r: לפסח וסוכות קודם פתיחת ארון הקדש; hymn by Mordekhai Daṭo (acrostic) to be recited before opening the Torah ark during services on Passover and Sukot, opening words: אפתח שיר בשפתי ולשון.

5. folios 7v–8v: לשבועות קודם פתיחת ארון הקדש; hymn to be recited before opening the Torah ark during services on Shavuʿot, opening words: אפתח נא שפתי ולשון.

6. folios 8v–9v: קודם פתיחת ארון הקדש לשמחת תורה ושבת בראשית; hymn by Mordekhai Tsahalon to be recited before opening the Torah ark during services on Śimḥat Torah and Shabat Be-reshit, opening words: אפתח שפתי נא אקרא בקול גרון.

7. folio 10: לימים טובים אחר קדיש קודם עושה שלום יאמר; hymn for festivals to recite after Kadish and before ʿOśeh shalom, opening words: יחיינו מיומים ויפדנו.
