On obverse, 'By Special Appointment to Her Late Majesty Queen Adelaide at Freame's Extensive Cabinet and Upholstery Warerooms and Manufactory, St. Swithin Street, Worcester...' advertises with extensive details of stock listed in a variety of typefaces. Royal Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom and motto 'Dieu et mon droit' at top of page. On reverse, 'William Mill, 3. Hunter's Lane, Birmingham, inventor, patentee and manufacturer of the only self-adjusting spring penholders...' and 'Isaac Greaves, manufacturer of every description of light and heavy edge tools...Park Works, Sheffield...'
