Elaborate 19th century engraved trade card (label) of James Cherry pasted on mount backed with part of engraving of castle. Trader details inscribed on rectangular frame edged with floral decoration.


Transcription: JAMES CHERRY, Picture Frame Maker, Gilder, &c. PAPER HANGING WAREHOUSE, Cross-Cheaping, Coventry. Repairs and Gilds Chimney and Pier Glass Frames, Mirrors, Girandoles, and Frames of every description in Oil or burnished Gold, equal to new. Gold Writing and Bordering on Glass. Painting in all its Branches. Roosm, &c. decorated in Oil or Distemper.
