Description

Pictorial 19th century engraved trade card of Jordan [Thomas Jordan] with Royal Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom at top of card. Trader details in a variety of typefaces. Manuscript pencil note on reverse with address in Hyde Park and notice 'to be packed carefully'.


Transcription: JORDAN'S PATENT Machine Carving in Wood or Stone, 154, STRAND, (three doors East of Somerset House) AND BELVEDERE ROAD, LAMBETH. The Trade supplied with Mouldings, Ornaments for Furniture &c in the Rough or Finished. Skelton & Smith 256 Strand
