Description

Pictorial 19th century engraved trade card of W. Hunt [William Hunt], depicting sofa and ornately carved desk. Ornate curtain pole with curtains edges card. Trader details in a variety of typefaces with decorative flourishes. Remains of previous blue and pink paper mount and glue present on reverse.


Transcription: W. HUNT, Upholsterer, Cabinet Maker, UNDERTAKER and APPRAISER, Sidney Street, CAMBRIDGE. NB. Fancy and other Turning, Paper Hanging &c. Metcalfe Sc.
