Description

Highly pictorial 19th century engraved trade card of Robert Carey depicting windows with chairs and chaise longue shown in panes. Ornate curtain pole with elaborate swags and perched bird edges card. Trader details in a variety of typefaces with decorative flourishes. Manuscript pencil note on reverse regarding 'Betteley upholsterer cabinet maker'.


Transcription: ROBT [ROBERT] CAREY, Cabinet Maker and Upholsterer, No. 46 Stafford Street DUBLIN.
