Description

Simple 19th century engraved trade card of R. Robinson [Robert Robinson]. Trader details in a variety of typefaces with decorative flourishes. Printed street number 17 has been crossed out, with manuscript ink note '40' written to left. Manuscript ink note on reverse dated 19 April 1859.


Transcription: R. ROBINSON, Upholsterer, Cabinet Maker, AUCTIONEER & UNDERTAKER, 40 PARLIAMENT STREET. S.W. DECORATING AND GENERAL REPAIRS. HOUSE AGENCY. Late of Margaret St [Street], Cavendish Square.
