Pictorial 19th centry lithographed ticket permitting admission to view Charles Lucy's painting of Vice Admiral Lord Nelson on the eve of the Battle of Trafalgar. Details inscribed on large board with sailor perched atop, holding onto ship's mast. Nelson's Column in background with various nautical items in foreground, including map labelling Africa, Spain and C. Trafalgar. Manuscript ink note for admission to 'C. King Esq'.
Transcription: Nelson on the eve of the Battle of Trafalgar, conceiving the immortal sign "England expects every man will do his duty" painted by Charles Lucy.
