Description

Pictorial late 18th or early 19th century engraved trade card (label) of J. Jenkins. Trader details in a variety of typefaces with manicule pointing right towards text. Decorative beadwork border around top and side edges of card, with circular disc ensconcing flower at top of card. Floral border along bottom edge of card.


Transcription: J. JENKINS, TRUNK MAKER, No. 6, Butcher Street, PORTSEA, (From St. Paul's, London.) Trunks for the Navy and Army.
