Description
Highly pictorial 19th century chromolithographed trade card of J. E. Christiaens, Zoon, with decorative interconnected panels depicting (clockwise from top left) three stoves, lock, coal scuttle, wrought iron gate, companion set and two crossed keys. Trader details in a variety of typefaces with decorative flourishes. Enamelled card or carte porcelaine with two tone coloured inks in blues, reds and oranges. Remains of previous blue paper mount and glue present on reverse.
