Description
Highly pictorial 19th century chromolithographed trade card of J. Hittemans with large image of ornately carved sofa filling card. Trader details inscribed on oval panel on backrest of sofa in a variety of typefaces with decorative flourishes. Enamelled card or carte porcelaine with two tone coloured inks in blues and oranges. Remains of previous blue and brown paper mount and glue present on reverse.
