Description

Pictorial 19th century chromolithographed trade card of A. Dezon depicting sofa on large rug with decorative canopy suspended above and sea creature ornaments at either side. Trader details in a variety of typefaces. Enamelled card or carte porcelaine with two tone coloured inks in yellows, greens and purples. Remains of previous blue paper mount and glue present on reverse.


French transcription: A. DEZON DE PARIS. Décorateur en Tapisserie.


English translation: A. DEZON OF PARIS. Upholsterer.
