Description

Highly pictorial 19th century engraved trade card of Quarrill & Niner with large image filling card. Inscribed ionic columns flank trader details in centre of card. Eagle with wings spread perches on curtain rod, balanced on ionic columns at top of card. Trader details in a variety of typefaces with decorative flourishes. Remains of previous brown paper mount and glue present on reverse. Manuscript ink note 'J. R.' on reverse.
