Description

Simple 19th century engraved trade card of James Glass. Trader details in a variety of typefaces with decorative flourishes. Indecipherable manuscript ink and pencil notes notes and some damage on reverse where previous mount has been removed.


Transcription: ORNAMENTED CHANDELIERS, Branches &c. FOR GAS LIGHT. Fitted up in the most improved Principle by James Glass. No. 15 BLAIR STREET Edinburgh. C. Thomson, Sculpt. 42 High St.
