Description
Highly pictorial 19th century engraved trade card of George Allen, Junior, depicting various metalware items (clockwise from top) smoke jack, chimney pot, stove, pipe corner connector, lock and key, bell, oil lamp, urn, stove, companion set and fender, wrought iron gate, bath stove, coal scuttle, bath and poker. Trader details in a variety of typefaces with decorative flourishes. Remains of previous brown and pink paper mount and glue present on reverse.
