Description

Response book recording the answers given by informants during the Survey of English Dialect. It includes 9 sections that cover a range of topics relating to work, domestic and social life. Answers are recorded in the International Phonetic Alphabet.


Interviews have been carried out by fieldworker Stanley Ellis.

There are three informants for this response book - William Simons, George Minny and Jim Croft.
