Description

Typed draft transcripts of gramophone discs, based on LAVC/SRE/D/2/305 and LAVC/SRE/D/2/306, for a study into dialects in the Upper Holme Valley. An introduction to the transcripts introduces the study, lists informants, explains corrections, details the time spent transcribing and estimates the total of pages in the final transcription. They have invited the person they've sent it to to write any comments, and some pen marks can be seen in the pages. Comes with original envelope that held the documents.
