In two sections, comprising (1) Prose treatise "The grand controversie of the time", followed (p.26) by "Beams of divine love arising upon Zion", a poem in the form of a dialogue between Christ and the Spouse, expressing mutual love and happiness in the manner of the Song of Songs, and described on the title-page as "Written chiefly for the use of those who haue newly received the Truth". (2) "Notes of sermons ... by Mr William Fisher", dated 1 August 1716-19 July 1719, and partly in the same hand.


Manuscript book, early 18th-century, formally set out on the model of a printed book. Bound in half leather with marbled paper. Owner's name struck over on title; on last page is added: I D 1786
