Description

Autograph letter, begins 'Tho' I think your dendritic manifesto wd run'.

WMR discusses the possibility of JLT's writing for publication, and urges him to publish a complete collection of his best things.

He refutes that an article in Punch is by [Dante] Gabriel [Rossetti] but thinks it rather a 'sort of take-off of Gabriel, or more especially of Burne Jones, Morris, and Simeon Solomon.' WMR believes the writer to be Robert Buchanan 'one of the most pestilent poetic polypuses [?] & mildews of the day [...] whom I feel justified in abusing'.
