Description

Autograph letter, begins 'Pray discharge with the mason & don't trouble your head about me'.

WMR reports dining with [Thomas] Woolner and [Alfred Lord] Tennyson. He hopes to meet JLT for a walk but is not sure he will be able.

WMR advises JLT to ask Durand [editor at New York journal, The Crayon] to print a column of Diary [of an Artist] every month.

Letter is not dated, but references to The Crayon suggest it is c. 1855. cf BC MS 19c Rossetti/3/2/5-12, 14.
