Description

A black card box of United States wool standards samples mounted on 4 black velvet boards, containing full descriptive label issued by the United States Department of Agriculture. Samples are individually numbered. There is a Certificate of standards from 1928 within the box lid. A letter to Professor Barker (Head of Textiles Department), University of Leeds (1933) is also within the box lid.
