String bound book with buff coloured paper covers with black text on front cover and a blue card stapled to the front cover awarding a prize of £4 to Peter Thornton, Leeds University. Containing samples of patterned clothing, furnishing and household fabrics along with point paper patterns and typed descriptions of the weaving techniques. Paginated in sections.
