Description
Cream coloured museum exhibit card from the Department of Colour Chemistry, displaying annotated photomicrographs of lengths and cross sections of viscose rayons and cuprammonium rayons. In the top section are 6 cross-sections of viscose rayons: Bright Vistra Staple Fibre; Bright Snia Fiocco Staple Fibre; Bright Agfa Travis; Bright Elongated Smooth; Bright Celta, hollow; Celta, pigment dulled in spinning. In the lower section are images of two lengths and two cross-sections of cuprammonium rayons annotated as 'Bemberg' and 'pigment dulled in spinning'.
