Description
Cream museum exhibit card from the Department of Colour Chemistry, displaying annotated samples of dyed warp viscose and cellulose satins in greens and turquoise.
1. six samples with viscose warp and cellulose acetate weft: grey; dyed viscose with direct dyes, cellulose acetate with duranol dyes; finished face and back.
2. three samples in viscose and cellulose acetate warp and cellulose acetate weft: grey; dyed (direct dyes and duranol dyes); finished.
Samples are glued to apertures, plus one small strip of tape.
