Description
Cream museum exhibit card from the Department of Colour Chemistry, displaying three annotated samples of dyed furnishing fabrics. From top left:
1. Spun silk tissue. Stylised floral and foliate pattern against a dark brown background.
2. Organzine and Linen Damask. Light green damask with large flower pattern.
3. Spun silk and Worsted Hand-woven Tissue. Stylised flower clusters in pink blue and red separately, against a subdued gold damask background with heraldic creatures.
Samples are glued and taped to apertures.
