Description

Cream museum exhibit card from the Department of Colour Chemistry, displaying seven annotated samples of dyed canvases. Samples are glued to apertures.


i. Four samples under the heading 'linen warp, jute weft canvases for railway carriage and tram car roofs'. Two columns of two samples each: 'loom state' and 'calendered'.


ii. Two samples of linen warp and weft with cotton stripes for deck chairs.


iii. One sample(bottom) bleached linen towelling with cotton stripes.
