Description

Cream museum exhibit card from the Department of Colour Chemistry, displaying 12 annotated samples of dyed textiles. Samples are attached to appertures with tape.

The samples are:

- 4 cotton Stockinette on cotton fleece

- 2 cotton Indiana on cotton fleese

- 2 Speckled woven cotton on cotton fleece

- 2 cotton Indiana in wool fleece

- 2 Cotton Indiana on cotton fleece

Elephant hide proofing produced by shrinking the fleece, wool giving the maximum effect.
