Description

This cap has been embroidered with multicoloured geometric motifs which incorporate mirror work. It is decorated in the centre of the crown with a red tassel. Herringbone, chain and satin stitch have been used, with shisha stitch used to incorporate the pieces of mirror. It is possibly from the Rajasthan or Gujarat regions.
