Description

Hardback with black covers. Leather buckle strap attached. Gold text on spine 'G.S.Hunter 1910'. Contains varied garment and furnishing woven fabric samples. Includes details of loom set up and some point paper patterns. Also dyed samples with details of the dyes used.

Includes a postcard, with a picture of Jacob's Ladder, Devizes, from MD to Miss Davis 2.10.1917.

It is thought this was created by a student in the department who was killed in the First World War, and was presented to the collection by his father.
