Description

Hardback with black and white mottled covers and green spine with black text on cover and spine. Book no.9. Contains woven fabric samples including chiffon, taffeta, damask and satin. Samples are unpatterned or have patterning of stripes, plaid, zig zags, chevrons, cellular patterning, paisley patterning, floral sprigs and trailing foliar patterning. Patterning in 1-3 colours. Some patterns include examples of different colourways.


Handwritten inscriptions give brief details of fabric structure and materials. There also appears to be details of orders for some of the patterns.


J.Cornet mentioned on a loose card in the book.
