Description

A hardback note book with red marbled boards and hand written label: Laboratory notes (Various), originally bought from Whitehead, Morrris & Lowe stationers (London). This book belonged to A. G. Green, Altas Works, London East. This half filled manuscript note book is written by hand and includes a content list and describes dyeing experiments. The pages are numbered until page number 102. This notebook very likely belonged to Arthur George Green, an academic at the University who invented the aniline based dye primuline.
