Description

A headband in cream silk with a black border and couched metallic thread, depicting a satin stitch embroidered scene of flowers, birds, insects and butterflies, fish, figures and a shrine or temple. The border includes insects, fish, shells and symbols including the swastika. There is an elastic loop on one end, and plaid cotton on the reverse which is loose showing the backing stitching.
