Description

Very finely twill woven, natural coloured, shawl with a narrow decorative band of a geometric floral patterns edging each long side edge. The same band design is worked width wise to edge the wider floral borders at each end of the shawl. This border design is composed of 12 repeated delicate floral sprigs, tapestry woven. The floral sprigs are slightly different at each end. The patterning is woven in shades of blue, green and pink fine wool threads on a plain cream wool ground.
