Description
Accrual of records to the Leeds School of Medicine, William K Mathie, Secretary to the School of Medicine, 1980-2007, Editor of Medicine Matters,2007-2013 [known as Bill Mathie].
Includes: minutes, agendas and papers of various Board and Committee meetings; files relating to the Clarendon Wing at the Leeds General Infirmary; departmental floor plans; health and safety at the School; General Medical Council publications and inspections; and other papers.
Also contains student photographs; various publications and Annual Reports by the School; and audio recordings of interviews with medical students about their elective placements in 1987.
System of arrangement
The records in this series have been arranged and listed into two sections. LUA MED/4/3/1-38 are the minutes and papers of various Boards and Committees, arranged generally into groupings for each committee, and then in chronological order. LUA MED/4/3/39-78 lists the remaining files, publications and photographs.
