Biography or history

William Shacklock was born on 15 January 1819, son of Joshua (b.1792) and Elizabeth Shacklock. He studied at the Leeds School of Medicine between 1838 and 1841, and qualified as an Apothecary and Surgeon in London in 1842. He reportedly died at Hunslet, Leeds, on 16 July 1843.
