Description

Contains three bundles of illustrations for Arthur Hurst and Matthew J. Stewart's book, "Gastric and Duodenal Ulcer", published by Oxford Medical Publications, 1929.


The bundles include original mounted illustrations by [Ethel] M. Wright, some dated from 1911, many showing ulcers and atrophy of the liver. They also include colour and black and white plates of illustrations for the book, many with notes on the covers, or interleaved note pages. There is also a typescript proof document listing details of each of the figures in the book.


Also includes nine original illustrations by E.M. Wright of "[...] Lord Moynihan's gastric cases 1923", with patient names written on the reverse.
