Description

Two undated metal dies used for producing Leeds School of Medicine medals: one for the front face design, and the other for the reverse face design [portrait of John Hunter]. Die number: Wyon 129. [n.d., c.1890s]


The dies are accompanied by a file of five letters between Franklin Mint Ltd and the University of Leeds, relating to returning the dies to the university [29 Nov 1979-2 Jan 1980].
