Description
Bronze medal, presented to Thomas Scattergood in commemoration of the union of the Leeds School of Medicine with the Yorkshire College on 1st August 1884.
Inscribed "Schola Medicinae Leodiensis A.D. 1831 Ins." on the back of the medal, with "In commemoration of the union with the Yorkshire College Aug, 1st, 1884" in the centre. Lettered edge reads: "Thomas Scattergood" , and there is a side portrait of John Hunter on the front.
Housed in medal box, with label on the base.
