Contains two letters sent to Charles Chadwick.
(1) Letter from (?)J Watson, congratulating Chadwick on his election to the staff of the Leeds House of Recovery, and about medical reform, 6 April 1841
(2) Letter from (?)R. Christian, Edinburgh, regarding a case for consultation, 24 January 1869
The letters are accompanied by a covering note sent from Charles Montague Chadwick (1854-1950), to Professor Jamieson, 10 October 1935. Charles Montague Chadwick was the son of Charles Chadwick.
Biography or history
Charles Chadwick (1815-1886) was a physician at the Leeds General Infirmary and lecturer on the Principles and Practice of Medicine at the Leeds School of Medicine.
