Contains the history of the reigns of Ethelbert and Edward II, extracted from Stow's 'Annals' and translated into French by François Garnier. See John Stow's 'The annales of England', 1601. There are marginal references to the years, and to the pages in this edition of the 'Annals': the sections translated are those on Ethelbert (pp. 64-67) and Edward II (pp. 327-352)


With 2 covering sheets; roughly sewn with string. The text (beginning on f. 6r) has contemporary ink foliation 1-48; 4 preliminary leaves and the last 5 leaves are blank. The end leaves are stained. The title is written on the first covering leaf. The text is written in a late secretary hand
