A book of études containing music, mostly unattributed, presumed to have been copied by Mary Anne (or Marianne) Spencer Stanhope. The music includes various songs by G.M.M.F. Blangini.

Biography or history

Marianne (or Mary Anne) Spencer Stanhope, born 1786, was the eldest daughter of Walter Spencer Stanhope and his wife, Mary Winifred Pulleine. In 1826, she published (anonymously) 'Almack's: a novel' and in 1828 she married Robert Hudson of Tadworth Court, near Epsom, Surrey.
