Description
The collection comprises the papers of the evolutionary geneticist Emeritus Professor J. R. G. Turner. It includes correspondence between Turner and leading scientists in the Oxford School of Ecological Genetics and other important scientists.
The collection also includes research papers by Turner and other scientists into evolutionary theory particularly relating to heliconius a genus of tropical butterflies. It contains drafts of Turner's papers, research notes and lecture notes for meetings.
Groups of papers which were filed together have been kept in their original order.
