Bound volume of fragments of manuscript notes made by George Borrow on vocabulary and language relating to Gypsies, Travellers and Roma.
Title on spine reads, "How Borrow learned languages" and inside title page reads, "How Lavengro learned languages; being some scattered fragments form the papers of George Borrow. From the Borrow Collection in the possession of Clement Shorter."
