Description

Volume containing lecture notes by Raven. The notes begin at the front, with 'Mr. Hume's Surgical Lectures. (Continued) & Mrs Hitch's Drug Lectures & Dr. Beattie's Gynaecological Lecture' written in the fly-leaf.


Then from the back the volume there are additional notes, on 'Dr. Roxborough's Skin Lectures & Dr. Garrod's Bacteriological Lectures.' which is written inside the back cover. Also contains four loose pages of notes at the back of the volume.


The volume has 'K.A. Raven' written on the spine.

Physical and technical conditions

This volume contains manuscript notes in the ‘tête-bêche’ style: where one set of text starts at the front of the volume, and another set starts from the back of the volume, but inverted (upside down). The volume has blank pages in the middle, separating the text sections.


Loose papers in volume now held in a separate envelope.
